In A.D. 119 the Ninth Roman Legion marched north into the wilds of Britain beyond Agricola's Wall and disappeared without a trace. The Eagle of the Ninth is heralded as one of the most outstanding children's books of the twentieth century.

I didn't realize this film was based on a children's book. I haven't seen it yet, but I do love Channing Tatum!
